Luke Combs’ Category 10 to Launch at Flamingo on October 15, 2026

Luke Combs’ eagerly awaited venue, Category 10, will officially open its doors at Flamingo on October 15, 2026.

Category 10 Sets Opening Date at Flamingo, Takes Aim at Ole Red

Luke Combs’ eagerly awaited venue, Category 10, will officially open its doors at Flamingo on October 15, 2026. This three-story, 34,000-square-foot country-themed establishment will kick off at 11:00 a.m. in the space formerly occupied by Margaritaville, which closed on April 15, 2024, after more than two decades. The closure left a prime location that enjoys substantial foot traffic.

Category 10 will feature seven bars, two performance stages, approximately 800 seating options, and a 3,000-square-foot rooftop area offering views of The Strip. This venue, named after Combs’ hit song ‘Hurricane,’ will introduce various themed spaces, including Hurricane Hall, bourbon-focused The Still, and The Eye Rooftop.

Among the venue’s unique offerings is the Beautiful Crazy Women’s Lounge, positioned near the women’s restroom on the first floor, featuring a champagne bar, soft seating, makeup counters, and Hollywood vanity mirrors, ideal for a ladies’ night out. A walk-up Hurricane Bar will also overlook The Strip and Linq Promenade.

Category 10 enters a competitive market of country bars and restaurants on The Strip, potentially challenging Blake Shelton’s Ole Red, which opened at the Grand Bazaar Shops at Horseshoe in January 2024. Notably, both Category 10 and Ole Red are owned by Opry Entertainment Group.

Category 10’s grand opening weekend will include free line-dancing lessons and DJ performances, with a menu that reflects Combs’ Appalachian roots, featuring dishes like Carolina smoked ribs, a Smoky Mountain chicken sandwich, and barbecue chicken flatbread. This Flamingo location marks the second Category 10, following the first in Nashville.

The venue’s success may hinge on its strategic location and the sustained interest in country music among visitors. The establishment is expected to thrive during key events such as the National Finals Rodeo. As demand for country music when dining and entertaining continues to grow, the implications of Category 10’s opening on Ole Red and the broader market are yet to be seen.
