Aussie Heat Returns to Rio for New Residency Starting in October 2026

Aussie Heat, the male revue featuring Australian performers, is making a comeback with a new residency at the Rio starting on October 8, 2026. The show last performed at Notoriety in Neonopolis, where it ran from April 2025 until August of this year. The closure was attributed to international tariffs impacting the supply chain, leading to decreased demand for imported entertainment products.

The show will now take place in the Riot Room at The Venue, which is currently being revitalized. This newly refurbished space, done by producer John Bentham’s Ivory Star Productions, has been transformed into two separate showrooms suitable for smaller productions, dinner shows, brunch events, immersive experiences, and rotating pop-ups. Current offerings include “Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding” and “Punk Rock Brunch.”

Initially debuting in Las Vegas in July 2015 under the name Aussie Hunks at The D, Aussie Heat later shifted to various locations, including the V Theater and Mosaic on the Strip before its recent tenure at Notoriety.

The Rio’s Masquerade Village is undergoing redevelopment, and the venue aims to breathe new life into the area, which is currently underutilized. In a positive development, a significant portion of the casino, including Masquerade Village, has been designated as a non-smoking area.

The Rio continues to expand its entertainment lineup with performances from Penn & Teller and other shows, further positioning itself as a vibrant entertainment destination.

Aussie Heat performances will occur Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 9:00 PM, intended for audiences aged 18 and older, lasting about 90 minutes. Ticket prices range from $64.99 to $138.20 for the Platinum VIP experience, which includes drinks and a meet-and-greet with performers. While primarily attracting female audiences, Aussie Heat also welcomes the LGBTQ community, promoting a fun and engaging environment for all attendees.
