Lawsuit Filed Against The Nerd Bar at Neonopolis Over Injuries Linked to Mechanical Ride

A woman has initiated legal action against The Nerd, located in Neonopolis on Fremont Street, asserting she sustained injuries after an incident involving the establishment’s mechanical penis ride. The plaintiff, Amber Zabran from Illinois, reportedly visited the bar with friends on November 22, 2025, shortly before closing time, and requested to use the ride.

Zabran asserts she was not asked to sign a waiver before mounting the attraction, which was operated by an employee using a joystick. She claims that as the ride’s speed increased, her ankle was caught beneath the structure, causing her to be thrown off and resulting in injuries. The lawsuit cites negligence, vicarious liability, and claims regarding negligent hiring and supervision, among other accusations, with Zabran seeking damages for medical expenses, lost wages, and more, although no specific monetary figure has been disclosed. She has requested a jury trial.
