Fausto’s Mexican Grill currently has five restaurants in the Las Vegas Valley, and the Vega family is set to broaden its operations. With the son of founder Fausto Vega stepping into a more significant role, the family aims to open additional locations in the region to sustain their growth.

Fausto Vega’s journey began in 1977 when he moved from Mexico to the United States, initially working in California’s strawberry fields before turning to the restaurant industry. The first Fausto’s Mexican Grill opened in 2001, highlighting the family’s dedication despite language barriers and limited formal education. Efren Vega, the founder’s son, recalls the hard work of his parents, emphasizing their commitment to the restaurant and community service, particularly by supporting local schools. The family plans to continue expanding their restaurant chain while actively contributing to the community.
